These deadlines are the same whether you’re transferring from within Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ or from another state.

To be granted admissions, you must be eligible to return to all previous institutions of enrollment.

You can transfer to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette with guaranteed admission if you have earned an associate degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution.

If you’ve earned 24 or more hours, you must have:

• A 2.25 GPA or higher (excluding developmental or remedial courses
• Completed college-level freshman English with a C or better
• Completed college mathematics with a C or better

If you’ve earned fewer than 24 hours (0+ college credits earned), you must:

• Meet all admissions standards for first-time freshmen
• Be in good standing with the previous institution

Transferring Credits

Your transfer credits must come from a regionally accredited college or university. We can’t accept credits from vocational, special program or unaccredited business schools.

Your dean’s office will officially determine which transfer credits will apply to your degree program at the beginning of your first semester at Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette.

College Transcripts

Contact the Registrar's Office at all institutions you attended before applying to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette. Ask them to email or mail your transcripts directly to the University of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

If you are currently taking classes at another university, you can submit your current transcript and we’ll review it for initial eligibility. Submit your final official transcript when you have completed your current classes.

High School Transcripts

Contact the administrative offices at your high school and ask them to email or mail your transcripts directly to the University of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

Official Test Scores

If you have fewer than 24 credits to transfer to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette, you must submit your official test scores to the University.

Log in to your student account on the SAT or ACT websites to send your scores to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette’s Office of Undergraduate Admissions:

Immunization Form

All incoming students must submit an immunization form before you can register for classes. You can submit it at the same time or after your admissions application.

You must be screened for tuberculosis (TB) and be immunized against measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus-diphtheria.

Selective Service Registration

Males between 18 and 26 years old are required to register with the Selective Service and provide proof of registration to Undergraduate Admissions. .
