University Officials Continue to Monitor Tropical Storm Isaac

The University of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette continues to monitor Tropical Storm Isaac. At this time, Lafayette Parish is not in a state of emergency. University administrators, along with Lafayette Parish officials, are monitoring weather projections.

There are no plans at this time to cancel classes or close the university. The university remains open and classes will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 28, as scheduled.

If storm conditions merit a closure of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette, the university is prepared for all students who live on campus to shelter in place at the university. Any residence hall student needing assistance should contact the Housing Department.
