Three students from the University of Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ at Lafayette were honored for having the highest grade point averages during Fall commencement exercises on Dec. 15.
The three were Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette’s top graduates for the Fall 2007 semester. They include:
• Jessica Ann Oalmann, daughter of Raymond and Peggy Oalmann of Spring, Texas, earned a 4.0 GPA. Oalmann received a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education Mild Moderate (Grades 1-12) from the College of Education.
• Veronica Leigh Siffert, daughter of Robert and Tammy Siffert of Katy, Texas, earned a 4.0 GPA. Siffert received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Liberal Arts. She majored in criminal justice.
• Josh Byron Miller, son of Don and Tommie Miller of Lafayette, earned a 3.977 GPA. Miller received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering.
Each semester the university recognizes its top graduates during Graduate School commencement exercises in the Cajundome.
