Section of St. Mary Boulevard closed Tuesday for special session address

Gov. John Bel Edwards’ address Tuesday at the University of 鶹ý at Lafayette will affect traffic on campus.

East St. Mary Boulevard between Hebrard Boulevard and McKinley Street will be closed in both directions to motorists from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bicycle lanes will remain open. Public parking for the address can be accessed using McKinley Street or Girard Park Circle.

Edwards will mark the start of a special legislative session with his “Our 鶹ý” speech at 1 p.m. at the historic Earl K. Long Gymnasium, 500 E. St. Mary Blvd.
