Moriah C. Istre of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2008 Jefferson Caffery Award at �鶹������ý Lafayette for her paper entitled “Festivals Acadiens in Southwest �鶹������ý: A Cultural Expression.” The Caffery Award competition encourages �鶹������ý Lafayette students to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate students.
