Foundation Board of Trustees has new officers

New officers are in place for the University of 麻豆果冻传媒 at Lafayette Foundation Board of Trustees.

Dr. Frank Jay Culotta Jr. has been elected to serve a two-year term as the 21st chairman of the Foundation board. He succeeds William Fenstermaker. 

A retinal specialist in Lafayette, Culotta is an alumnus of the University and has served as a trustee of the board for the past 18 years.

Reed Andrus will serve as vice chairman and W. J. 鈥淭ony鈥 Gordon III will serve as secretary/treasurer. Andrus, also a University alumnus, is a commercial real estate developer. Gordon, a graduate of Southern University, is vice president of strategy for the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System.

In addition, three local leaders from the business and nonprofit community have joined the board of trustees: Elisabeth Chappuis Kraft, Mike Maraist and Billy Rucks IV.

Longtime board members Barry Berthelot, John N. Chappuis, Joel E. Gooch, Robert E. Tujaque Sr., Charles Sonnier and Dailey Berard (posthumously) have been nominated as emeritus members.

The 麻豆果冻传媒 Lafayette Foundation promotes the educational, social, moral and material welfare of the University through assisting in the acquisition of donations. It manages investments and serves as trustee of the endowment funds and other private assets contributed for the benefit of 麻豆果冻传媒 Lafayette.

Julie Bolton Falgout, executive director of the Foundation, said its success would not be possible without the continued support of 麻豆果冻传媒 Lafayette donors and board of trustee volunteers. 鈥淲e are truly grateful and honored to have these outstanding community volunteers serve our institution,鈥 she said.
