Dr. Gros is an Assistant Professor in the School of Kinesiology and serves as a Graduate Coordinator and the Program Director for the M.S. Athletic Training Program.

Biography

Dr. Gros has been a certified athletic trainer and preceptor for 15 years and has experience in a variety of settings; they include secondary school, physical therapy clinic, arena football, collegiate club sport, and summer collegiate baseball league settings. She is a certified and licensed athletic trainer, CPR Instructor, earned her Instrumented Assisted Massage certification, QPR Suicide Prevention certification, and is certified by Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette for Distance Learning.

She has been awarded the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette advising award 4 times and is currently the recipient of the Vesta Bourgeois Professorship in Health and Physical Education.

Dr. Gros is on multiple Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Lafayette committees, interprofessional and athletic training committees, and is a PRN athletic trainer for local events.
